About Us

The Faculty of Management is one of the youngest faculties of the University of Lodz. It came into being on September 1st, 1994.

The Faculty provides world-class education to nearly 5,000 students and the academic staff of the Faculty, numbering almost 200 academics, carry out research in management-related sciences in cooperation with international partners, according to best regional and international practice. In addition, the Faculty of Management is the leading scientific and didactic centre in the region of Lodz, specialising in management-related sciences.

Though the Faculty of Management is a fairly young business school, there has been significant growth in intellectual potential since it was established. The Faculty started with 89 academic teachers and that has expanded to nearly 200 members of staff and the growing number of students is further evidence of development. Student numbers have doubled from 2,050 to nearly 5,000 and although the majority of students are of Polish origin, there has been a considerable growth in the number of international students - one of the strategic objectives of the Faculty is to become a genuine melting pot of business students from throughout the globe.

We offer both undergraduate (bachelor level) and graduate (master level) programmes in Management entirely taught in English. These programmes aim to create high potential specilaists capable of working effectively in global business regardless of the situation, business, location or culture.
