About Us

The Faculty of Management is one of the youngest faculties of the University of Lodz. It came into being on September 1st, 1994.

Though the Faculty of Management is a fairly young business school, there has been significant growth in intellectual potential since it was established. The Faculty started with 89 academic teachers and currently employs over 150 academics who carry out research and perform teaching in management-related sciences.

The Faculty provides world-class education to nearly 4,000 students within 13 bachelor and 6 master study programmes, ranging from business management, through marketing, entrepreneurship, business analytics, accounting, logistics, investments, data management and automation to public management.

We offer three study programmes in English: BA in Business Management, BA in Management and Finance as well as MA in Business Management. These programmes aim to create high potential specialists capable of working effectively in global business regardless of the situation, business, location or culture. Both Business Management programmes have been accredited by the IACBE (International Accreditation Council for Business Education).

The Faculty of Management is fast becoming a genuine melting pot of cultures and nations, providing a rich and diverse background for learning. Every tenth full time student is currently an international student. Each year the Faculty receives also well over a 100 mobility students. At the same time, 15 to 20 visiting professors (from Germany, India, Latvia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and USA) offer courses to our students each year.
