Choose the BA in Business Management – a study programme taught in English – and give a jump start to your professional career. The studies will provide you with knowledge in the area of management: finance, accounting, economics, marketing and law. At the same time remember that a fluent command of the English language is a fundamental requirement in this program. Team assignments and projects will provide you with skills such as ability to communicate and work in a team which are highly valued on the market. Such combination of knowledge, skills and competencies will ensure that you will be capable of performing in any business organization, including the ones that operate in an international environment. These studies will also help you to cope with running your own business.


 

Some characteristics of the study programme

  

Language: English

 

All courses in the Business Management programme are conducted entirely in English, with the use of textbooks and teaching materials in the field of business education offered by leading publishers. Mind, however that proficiency in specialized business English can only be achieved if you already are able to think in English.

 

The curriculum includes courses taught by visiting professors from foreign universities as well as practitioners who hold managerial positions in business corporations.

 

 

Among the courses to participate, you will find, for example: Professional Skills Development, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Introduction to Law, Market and Marketing, Organizational Culture, and Management Toolbox.

 

 

Graduates of this study programme may be employed in professionally managed business organisations. The learning gained creates the possibility of filling with professional spirit and skills small or family businesses. This option does not exclude the readiness to work for multi-cultural, multi-national and global companies which have well-developed management infrastructure and a multitude of various interests (stakes). Graduating from the Business Management study programme, will be ready to fulfill positions of management support specialists and, after several years of experience, may be prepared to professionally establish their own businesses or to apply for executive positions in established companies.

 

The program shall be launched with the minimum of 35 duly accepted students.


Student’s fee is connected with program for all students: from the EU (including Poland) and from outside of the EU.

Recruitment principles:

 

The EU (including Poland) candidates have to declare one foreign language and a choice of one subject from among: biology, physics, history and math plus a choice of two subjects from among: math, geography, history, WOS, informatics, physics, biology or chemistry.

 

Instruction - how to prepare for an interview [.pdf]

The EU (including Poland) candidates will not be invited to an interview in the course of the recruitment process. The interview for them shall be arranged during the early weeks of the first semester of study.
